or drop a logo here

A PNG or SVG with a transparent background looks best. It also stays on your device.

What are you announcing?

Optional, e.g. your last role.

Layout

Frame: a poster frame. Badge: a conference badge on a lanyard. Spotlight: a big headline on a dark stage.

Format

Brand color

Pick a swatch or enter your own hex code. The text color switches to the more readable option.

Spotlight always uses light text on a dark stage; your brand color becomes the glow.

Made in your browser. Photo and logo never leave your device.

1080 × 1080 px PNG with a small “Made with Go Spread” line in the corner.

How it works

Three steps. One post your network will notice.

  1. Step 1: Add your photo and logo

A clear headshot works best. Add your new company's logo if you like; both stay on your device.

  2. Step 2: Fill in the role

Pick new job, promotion, first job or internship, then add your name, title, company and, if you want, the start date.

  3. Step 3: Download and post

Choose Frame, Badge or Spotlight, square or portrait, download the PNG and post it with a few personal lines.

Why your own graphic

Your news, your face. Not a stock illustration.

Recognizable

People see whose news it is before they read a word.

The default new-position post looks the same for everyone. A graphic with your photo, your title and the company logo is unmistakably yours, so the people who know you stop for it.

Employer

A warm welcome for the new company.

With the logo and the brand color in the picture, your new colleagues are happy to like and share it.

Effort

Done in a few steps.

Three designs that work with any photo. No design tool and no template hunting.

Privacy

Your photo stays with you.

Everything is drawn in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored.

Formats

Square or portrait.

1080 × 1080 or 1080 × 1350 px, sized for the LinkedIn feed.

When to post

Good news, good timing.

A new job post lands best when it is official, personal and a little bit concrete. A rhythm that works for most people:

  1. Offer signed

    Tell people first, post later.

Your manager and team at the old job should hear it from you, not from the feed. Hold the post until that is done.

  2. Last day

    Say thank you.

A short goodbye post to your old team is a nice warm-up and keeps relationships open.

  3. First day

    Post the graphic.

Now it is official and you can say one real thing about the new role. Mention the company and your new team.

  4. First month

    Follow up.

Share what you are working on once you know. People who reacted to the first post are curious how it went.

What to write

Caption starters. Make them yours.

Three short starters we wrote by hand. Replace the brackets, cut what does not fit and add one sentence only you could write. Personal beats polished.

  • New job

Some personal news: I'm starting as [job title] at [company] this month. I'll be working on [one sentence about the work]. A big thank you to everyone at [previous company] for [what you learned there]. If you work on [topic], I'd love to hear from you.

  • Promotion

Proud to share that I've taken on a new role at [company] as [job title]. Thank you to [manager or team] for the trust, and to everyone who helped along the way. Next up: [what you want to build or change].

  • First job

First job, first day: I'm joining [company] as [job title]. Thank you to [mentors, professors, friends] who helped me get here. I'm looking forward to learning from a great team and sharing what I learn here.

Employee advocacy tool

Branded posts for every employee.

This free generator makes one graphic at a time. For your whole team, use Go Spread as your employee advocacy tool: design the graphic once for job onboarding, promotions or company news, share one link, and every employee adds their photo and posts it to LinkedIn. You set the design, Go Spread delivers the graphic. Start with the free plan.

  • Free plan, no credit card
  • No account for employees
  • Yearly corporate plans
  • Job onboarding

Put the link into your onboarding pack. New hires add their photo and announce their new job on day one, in your design.

  • Your design, your branding

Upload your own artwork or build it in the Design Builder. With the White Label add-on, campaigns run on your own subdomain with your logo instead of Go Spread branding.

  • One link, many occasions

Separate graphics for new hires, promotions, recruiting events or trade fairs in one campaign, each with its own captions.

  • Direct to LinkedIn

Employees post straight to their LinkedIn profile with a caption you prepared and can edit it first, or download the PNG.

  • Tracking built in

Views, downloads, direct LinkedIn posts, performance per graphic and estimated impressions for every campaign.

  • No account for employees

People open the link, add a photo and post. No login and no app, so it works for everyone from interns to the board.
